A Future New Home for ECF

Evangelical Church of Fairport meets on Sunday mornings at Perinton Community Center because we have outgrown the capacity of our auditorium. After many years of meeting in two services, we made the move to PCC so we could worship as one once again until we can build a new, larger facility.

Several years ago, ECF bought 25 acres of undeveloped land near the southwest corner of Atlantic Avenue and Route 250 in Penfield, and later acquired an additional 10 acres at the intersection of those two routes.

The Town of Penfield has designated that intersection to be a new “downtown” for Penfield, with mixed-use development and lots of pedestrian traffic. Many apartment and single-family homes are planned for that area. Our new building will be an integral part of that new neighborhood.

ECF is currently marketing the 10 acres at the corner to fund construction of a new building to be the base to bring the Gospel to Penfield and to the Rochester area. Our building committee, Corporate Board and other members of the church are making plans toward that end.
