Making Disciples of All Nations

Evangelical Church of Fairport is dedicated to seeing the Good News of salvation in Christ spread to all people, both overseas and here at home. More than 25 percent of our annual ECF budget is dedicated to overseas and domestic missions and to local outreach.

The annual mission budget and the activities of missions we support is overseen by the ECF Mission Board.

ECF supports a variety of local and foreign missionaries.

All of our supported missionaries and organizations came with some personal reference from, or connection with, a member of ECF. That way, we’re not total strangers to each another, and there is some history to refer to when our missions board makes decisions about who to support. We look forward to visits from our missionaries, who report back to us on a regular basis.

Mission Reports and Penny March

At our morning service on the first Sunday of each month, Mike Moulton, chairman of the ECF Mission Board, reports to the congregation with updates from our missionaries in the field and from local mission organizations we support.

At the end of the mission report, a special collection is taken for missions with a special need during our Penny March. Children and families of ECF collect change during the month and pool the money for that mission’s need. The testimony from our missionaries about how that collection made a difference to them or came as an answer to prayer is truly an example of God’s provision at work.
