Getting the Most out of ECF Body Life
Because we have congregational form of church government, our members participate actively in various decisions we need to make as a body. Membership also allows you to participate in other roles and positions in the church (for example, teaching Sunday School or being a Deacon). Non-members are still treated graciously and are free to participate as much as possible in ECF body life, up to some of these restrictions, but the Pastors do encourage everyone to pursue membership with us.
To become a member of ECF, there is a “Membership 101″ class that you need to attend. We usually offer this two times a year. The class is led by our Pastors/Elders, you get to meet other prospective members and delve deeper into topics such as: how we govern ourselves (our Constitution and Bylaws), what we believe concerning essential Christian doctrines, and why we believe membership in a local church is biblical and essential to healthy Christian fellowship.
