‘Shepherd the flock of God that is among you’ (1 Peter 5:1)
Rev. Reid A. Ferguson is the Senior Pastor and primary Preaching-Teaching Elder at Evangelical Church of Fairport.

Reid Ferguson
A native of Rochester, N.Y., Pastor Reid has served in various ministry areas during his life, including: a founding member of the former Mark IV Quartet, Youth Pastor at ECF, former board member of the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (F.I.R.E.), and author of The Little Book of Things You Should Know About Ministry (Christian Focus Publications, 2002). We are so blessed with Pastor Reid’s giftedness as an expositor of God’s Word week in and week out. His wife Sky (a native of Texas, y’all) is the perfect complement to Pastor Reid, and is a trained and certified Christian counselor in her own right. They have an adult daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren. Pastor Reid blogs regularly at Responsive Reiding.
Rev. Ken Beaton: Pastor Ken is a native of Canada and a graduate of Zion Bible Institute (Rhode Island). Ken served in various ministry roles in other churches before coming to ECF, which makes him a valuable leader here. Ken fills the pulpit on occasion at ECF and other churches, teaches young people and adults at ECF and leads our monthly prayer meetings. Ken is married to his ZBI sweetheart, Christine, and they have one adult son, Jonathan (JD). Pastor Ken works for the University of Rochester. (image coming soon)

Scott Ferguson
Scott Ferguson: Pastor Scott has done just about everything there is to do at ECF since coming here when his (and Reid’s) dad Ray took early retirement from Kodak to pastor ECF full-time. In addition to keeping the Elders/Pastors on-track, Scott teaches and occasionally fills the pulpit at ECF. He also shares the responsibility of leading congregational prayer during our Sunday morning service (with Pastor Brian). You can see Scott playing the trumpet with the music team, too. His wife Theresa (they met in college) is the church administrator and pastoral administrative assistant. Their daughter Amanda also sings with the music team. Pastor Scott is a graduate of Nazareth College and works as a software engineer for Info Directions, Inc.
Dr. Brian Smith: Pastor Brian is a medical doctor (oncology) and also attends to the well-being of the souls here at ECF. Brian shares the responsibility of leading us in congregational prayer during our Sunday morning service and also has been a regular adult Sunday School teacher for almost 30 years. Pastor Brian also leads our annual New Year’s Eve communion service. Steeped in God’s Word, he capably ministers to our souls. Pastor Brian is married to Trish, and they have 11 children, two daughters-in-law and one grandchild. Pastor Brian is also an avid woodworker and enjoys do-it-yourself home improvement. Ed Trefzger
Ed Trefzger: Pastor Ed takes great care and passion in overseeing Missions, Outreach and Evangelism for ECF. He also teaches Sunday School to our junior and senior high classes and fills the pulpit occasionally at ECF and other area churches. Ed worked as a mechanical engineer for 14 years at General Motors — starting as a co-op while still an undergrad at RIT — prior to beginning a career in web development as a freelancer. In addition to web development work, Ed also is the CTO of an internet streaming media startup, heads up technology for college hockey website USCHO.com and is the publisher of a weekly music industry publication, JazzWeek. Ed is also heard on the radio as the play-by-play voice of RIT men’s hockey. Pastor Ed blogs regularly at This Mystery.
**Note: Only Pastor Reid is a vocational (paid) Pastor at ECF. The others are non-vocational and work outside the church for a living.
